We're proud to announce we've just added support for Amex related transactions. You can now receive pre-dispute alerts that were initiated on Amex cards.
To set up the Amex alerts, you simply need to submit some info on the enrollment status page within the settings tab here. Please note, due to the complexity of the integration at the underlying issuing banks, it takes about 4-6 weeks to become fully active.
With these new Amex alerts, merchants are now able to receive an even wider range of coverage on their pre-dispute alerts. The average merchant on Chargeblast sees a 5% lift in dispute coverage after adding the Amex alerts.
How does it work?
The Amex alerts work the same as the Ethoca alerts within the Chargeblast dashboard. You will have action each alert, either by refunding the alert to stop the chargeback, or declining to refund and let it escalate to a chargeback.
